POETRY LESSON #4: Touching the heart
It is almost impossible to touch someone’s heart literally while that person is still alive (unless you are a heart surgeon!). But poetry touches our hearts.
ACTIVITY:
Shake hands. Hug. Faire la bise. Pinch yourself. Touch your hair. Touch objects around you – wood, metal, stone. Think about the nerve-endings in your fingertips!
CRAFT:
the necessity of love poems … and some common problems (like clichés!)
